For those of you that have made cutting boards.......I'm making some now.....my question is do you add feet before you oil it or after. I bought some stick on silicone rubber bumper feet but if I oil the board first I don't think they will stay stuck. However if I add them before I oil it the wood under the feet would be a different color. So.....how do you do it?

I never put my feet on cutting boards, at least not until I've finished them and can wipe them after.

But seriously folks, I make my cutting boards double sided. Cheese boards, however I coat with shellac and then use the rubber bumpers.

I purchase the white rubber feet at ace hardware, but use stainless steel screws. I thought I answered this, cant find the post.

I make big heavy boards, thick, up to 2 inches thick, people like the feet, or at least they say they do. some of the smaller boards Ive made I make 2 sided. no feet.
