I finally dug my miter saw/job site workbench out of my storage unit since I'll have plenty of work for it to hold up in the next few weeks: rear view (it has the brace across it)

behind it you can see the storage shelves Grizzz and I built last weekend to hold totes etc in the attic of my shop.
Loosely based on the 'ultimate tool stand' from American woodworker several years ago. I built mine out of 3/4 plywood and just threw some basic legs under it. I may add wheels so I can put it in the shed easier while I'm building my shop in the next few weeks. Ultimately the legs will go away and I'm planning on mounting that on brackets on the wall of my shop as my chop saw station. Alternatively I may make it my assembly/outfeed/ station and put it on casters and build a better support for it. We'll see, lots of stuff to do before that sort of refinement is 'needed'.
