    Mission Style Frames

About 2 weeks ago, I stopped in a cabinet shop that is about 2 minutes from my house. I asked if they had any scrap that I could have. The guy gave me a dusty box of Oak/other hardwood cut offs. Most were about an inch wide by 18 inches long (the standard 3/4in thick). I have been trying to figure out what to do with them. 2 are going to be the runners for a new cross cut sled, but the rest ......

    Then I found these plans:

I think I might be making a few picture frames....
We create with our hands in wood what our mind sees in thought.

Thats a great project! Good gifts for Christmas and marketing too. I have been looking for something like that to make and give to some of my better clients. Thanks for posting those. Bet my wife would love one too.

God grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked anyway,
the good fortune to run into the ones I do,
and the eyesight to tell the difference.

Thanks for the link, looks like a very good way of using up some of my smaller pieces.
