About 2 weeks ago, I stopped in a cabinet shop that is about 2 minutes from my house. I asked if they had any scrap that I could have. The guy gave me a dusty box of Oak/other hardwood cut offs. Most were about an inch wide by 18 inches long (the standard 3/4in thick). I have been trying to figure out what to do with them. 2 are going to be the runners for a new cross cut sled, but the rest ...... :dunno:

Then I found these plans:

Thats a great project! Good gifts for Christmas and marketing too. I have been looking for something like that to make and give to some of my better clients. Thanks for posting those. Bet my wife would love one too.
