    Walnut HF

Well finally got to do some turning. So I put the monster tool on the lathe and started turning This is what I ended up with. It is 7" tall and 4 1/2" across. I have one coat of Antique Oil on it. I am going to put another coat on tomorrow and wait 72 hrs or so and buff. Will post a follow up when done.

Thanks for the comments. I finally got some time to play in the shop yesterday and today. I just finish up a cherry lidded box and have put the first coat of finish on it. Monster tool makes hollowing easy.

    Follow up Walnut HF

Well here is the finished product with several coats of Lacquer. It turned out pretty nice. This is the walnut HF I posted a few days ago with one coat of finish. My lamp for the camera tent went out so had to improvise. Thanks to the wife.

Oh yeah, that shined up real nice. Did you buff it, or is that just the laquer talkin'?
