    Finally Turned Something Again!

    I needed a thank you gift for a neighbor who looked after our cats last weekend, so I turned this bottle stopper. Maple, finished with CA and Mylands friction polish.

    That's a cool little project. I've been staring at my lathe for three weeks trying to get time to turn. I never think about these smaller projects that can give a turning fix without the need for a bunch of hoopla. Thanks for sharing!

    I love the little projects like this! I'm working on a large builtin that is eating ALL my time, but was able to knock this and a couple others really quick. Gave me a turning fix and was able to come up with some quick gifts too!
