avatar with a mind of it's own

A few weeks ago I changed my avatar. Just noticed, the old one came back all by itself. Wa hoppen? I'll try again.

Just a guess, but sever had a hiccup and a backup copy was called upon?

I have had some strange looking graphcis, the buttons on the site the past couple of days. Seem OK right now though.

    Jeff,

I assure you, if the server had a hiccup and a backup was called into action, I'd know about...and I don't. I have no idea what happened to Frank's avatar, but there's about a .0001% chance that it was a server issue....

But, I'll have another look through the serber logs just to be certain...

If "a backup was called upon", there would be more than Frank's avatar that would be different...or reverted back to...

A notice would also have been made to the masses....

I would wonder if Franks Avatar was somehow not saved correctly/completely when he changed it a few weeks ago, but that is just a WAG..

I suspect Frank's browser was calling up a cached image somehow. Dunno the mechanics, but that's my guess.

    I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that.
