Old Jointer in Chicago on CL

I guess this is just a heads up to anyone on the hunt in Chicagoland. There is a a Delta/Rockwell jointer - looks to be 6" or 8" for $300.00. I'm not afiliated in any way and the guy posted no details - just saw this posting on CL today. Feel somewhat tempted myself but for now I'm saving my nickels for a combo jointer planer as an upgrade.

Hopefully somebody will give this one a better home than it looks to have had recently.

Holly cow. That looks to be an 8" with the (rare/rarish) cast iron base on it. Thats a steal at $300. If I was in the area I would be grabbing that one! Bet they are standing in line for that one!

Just an update. I emailed on this and received word back yesterday. The customer still has this and has got offers up to $450 to $500.
