    Guess where Ned was today

This is an image of a store-room (I surmise, I was outside, but it seems logical) of one manufacturer that many of us would like to go visit.

    Any guesses?

Let's see . . . I'll say Onieda Air Systems in Syracuse, New York .

    I'm guessing Glenn nailed it.

    *groan* oh that was bad.

They've got one large area of one HUGE old mill building which has been revitalized into an office complex. That area of Syracuse is pretty crime ridden, however. I'm glad to be out of there and moving on to other sections of town.

This "Old mill building" was at one time Rockwell International of Syracuse, NY. My old "green series" Rockwell router was made in that very same plant. I'm believing this plant was closed down in the mid sixties and they moved elsewhere, then were absorbed into the Delta brand.

just a bit of local trivia.
