Heavy duty free standing foot operated mortiser. Age unknown. Machine has adjustble gibs and all sliding parts are tight. Motor has been replaced with a Dayton 2hp 110/220 motor.
Table travel
X - 6 3/4"
Y - 4"
Z - >10"
Table tilts 45 deg in either direction.
Chisel stroke is a little more than 4".
I do not know how much it weighs but I estimate it to be around 600lbs. The motor was wired 220, I have rewired it for 110 to be able to demonstate it in my garage which is not wired for 220.
Machine works great and was built to last forever. I do not make that many mortises and really cannot afford the space to keep it. And, oh ya, if my wife wacks her shin on that foot pedal one more time I'll be divorced!
