I picked up this WoodMaster 2675 drum sander last Monday from SMC’r Randy Houghton. Randy no longer had a need for it and I just happened to be in the market. http://familywoodworking.org/forums/showthread.php?t=4281
I spent the last couple of days doing some shop rewiring, giving her a D&C (dusting & cleaning) and a good lube. Man, that 5hp Leeson motor is huge! She’s almost like new and purrs like a kitten.
Oh yeah, I sold my Delta 18/36 today. Life is good! :)

Hey Bruce, I'm sure you will like it. I have a 5075 w/the reversing feed, use it all the time. I did see the discussion on the creek about that? You can use a 4 way light switch wired in series to the feed motor.

Enjoy Dennis

Congrats on the new (to you) machine, Bruce. (And somebody sure got a sweet deal on your old Delta, too.) :thumb:

Thanks Vaughn. I'm really happy with it. About the only thing I want to change is the MB wheels. It's a grunt to push around, I need to get some different wheels with a harder composition.
I don't know if I'll bother with the reversing switch.
