Off to get my woodsplitter

I like the one my Dad had that fit on the arm of his Bobcat back hoe in place of the bucket. He just lined up a row of 10-12 chunks & set the splitter down over each chunk & split it & moved onto the next on then turned them all 1/4 turn & went down the row again & they were all split into 4 pieces. He didn't have to lift them off the ground until they were in quarters or smaller depending on how big they started out.

Steve,

Thats a handy tool. My dad got one after I moved out on my own. Of course when I was there we had to do it the way Bart described, very manual and very intense.

That pile looks like a good couple days work to get sawed and split.

Randy (who's glad he has natural gas):D
