    Heck, if you had made it a bit bigger you could have put it on a lathe and made it round

    What kind of glue did you use?

    Yep, that should be good and solid..........did you use PT lumber for the bottom layer

    Alan - I don't know anything about anvils but I love the fact that you're sharing this series of photos with us. I presume the big chain round the base is to make sure it doesn't blow away in high winds

    Well Frank, not everyone lives where you can get a nice "Stump" whenever you like

    How is the height? just right?

    I realize now I made mine too low, I'll have to add some thing below it.
