    new critter in the state

Word has it that the dreaded Basscat has been seen in Arkansas waters recently. Several have been caught. Seems they are coming up from Louisiana where they breed. If you catch one, be careful taking off the hook.

You hear about them Georgia pirranhas? If ya had both, they'd be too busy eating eachother to bother swimmers and gamefish... just watch out when one bunch wins out...

""It's like people who go hunting for deer," Radoski says, predicting how the snakehead will change the game for the Potomac's anglers. "And then you find a carnivorous, fanged deer that's hopping through the woods.""

    Head for the hills!

    Thanks,

    Bill

Drop a hydrophone over the side and play an endless loop recording of a can opener. They'll probably jump right in the boat.
