    GREX P635 = Cool!

I ordered this GREX P635 23ga. micro-pinner from the good folks at “The Fastener Company” (www.thefastenercompany.com) a couple of weeks ago. At 2.2 pounds this little guy packs a pretty good punch. I shot several 3/8” pins into some ¼” white oak with zero marring of the wood and no splitting – even very close to the edge. (I missed the edge a couple of times.)
This guy will be very handy for picture frame work or whenever I need a very small nail to tack things together.

Is this your first 23ga pinner? If so, you're gonna really like having it around. (You got a good one, too.) I've got a cheapie one, but it's done what it's supposed to, and it's been very handy to have the capability it provides.

This is my first pinner. My only other nail gun is a PC 18ga. brad nailer. The 18ga. looks huge compared to the 23ga.!

BTW Vauhan, you've got a cool avatar!

Just for grins, try "nailing" a toothpick to a piece of scrap lumber. It usually takes me a few tries, but it's doable. It'll amaze and entertain your friends.
