Anyone heard of ACN Inc. ?

Looking for anyones experience with this company, either being a team leader/trainer/coordinator/etc. or the phone service that they sell.

    Thanks very much...........

Not specifically, but since you ask, I'll say I take a dim view of MLM's in general. Your money is too valuable to waste on those things, and performs better in the stock market or other conventional investments.

This is a good overview of why these things are to be avoided:

Thanks for the info and link.

This is a MLM ( Multi-Level Marketing) company. A friend of mine is looking into becoming a "rep" for them. I don't like MLM in any form and I'm trying to find out more about it to get some info to steer him away from it.

He's not broke but things are kinda tight for him financially and he's kinda grasping at easy money straws right now.

    Thanks again.

Some interesting links from a quick Google of "ACN inc". Personally I would not touch it with a bargepole. There is a $499 buyin and a $150 annual renewal fee - big red flag to me.

Some of the posts in the next three are a bit rabid at times but nonetheless interesting for that.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ACN_Inc. The French clearly don't like it. Now that may count as a recommendation in some peoples eyes but its quite interesting to consider the analysis.

"The result is quality services with more value for the consumer, and for those who understand the importance of timing, an incredible business ownership opportunity" From the ACN website at page http://www.acninc.com/acn/us/about_us/index.jsp. The emphasis is mine. Like most schemes of this nature it is easier to make money at the beginning than it is at the end.

    Hope this helps a bit

Tragically, thats one of the ways these companies have learned to tailor their advertising... exploiting people's desperation. I wish you all the best in convincing your friend to stay clear of MLM's - Quatloos also has a forum with a lot of members who can perhaps help provide convincing arguments for you (maybe you found that already).
