    Question Question on thumbnails pics

    Vaughn,
    Wasn't it you that did something on a thumbnail pick either with or without a link? If I remember right you did it on SMC I can't find it there I have to do some pics that have both. Ckick on pic to see it bigger & click on pic to take you to a web site. I'm looking for some kind of tutorial that I can save with the directions.

    Thanks

    Chuck

    Chuck, I'm not Vaughn but I play him on TV.

    Here's the way I make a thumbnail image clickable. I sometimes use this for images in my Photobucket album where a thumbnail already exists. Substitute square brackets, [ and ] for { and }.

    {url=http://weblink}{img}http://thumbnail link{/img}{/url}

    http://weblink is the url of the large image or it could be a website or whatever. The img tags make the thumbnail appear as a picture as opposed to an active link.

    I hope that helps.

    Dave pretty much covered the "click on a pic here and have it take you somewhere else" trick.

    For the "thumbnails here that open up to bigger pictures here" trick, if you upload your pics to the server here, the thumbnail aspect is taken care of automatically for you. Towards the end of the tutorial discussed here there's some steps for uploading a picture to our server.

    Hope this helps -

    P.S. Dave, you'd need more hair to play me on TV. Either that or a really bad wig.

    Your computer needs to be specially equipped with the IntelliSmell™chip, and you'll need the NoseBlaster™ olfactory transducers attached to your sound/smell card.
