My dad told me he read an article that said using saran wrap and rubber bands on the ends of logs stops cracking just as well as anchor seal or other sealants. Have any of you ever tried this?
but it's a great way to use up those odds and ends of paint can stacked in the corner of the garage.
Here in Los Angeles it's illegal to throw away old cans of paint. (They even frown on empty paint cans.) So unless I manage to schlep the cans down to the HazMat drop-off location, they get stacked in the corner.Odds and ends are right. I've moved gallons of paint from house to house thinking I could use it for something. Including about 10 almost empty gallon cans from a move from chicago to IA 7 years ago. I don't know where they are now, but I know I still have them! Why, why, why do I keep all these things?
I'm kinda a pack rat, if I ever get around to doing a shop tour you'll see what I mean.
thanks for the help to all of you!!
