Maple HF

Here is a maple HF I made this week. The wood came from Washington state. It is 7 1/2" tall and 5 1/2" across. Finished with Minwax Antique Oil and will wait 72 hrs. to buff. Walls are 3/16" thick.

The figure is very nice and your finish really brought it out. Do you know from looking at the rough blank that it will have such interesting figure, or is every blank a box of chocolates?

Thanks. This one other than the amboyna vase is probably the best I have did. Walls are consistant and finish turned out good.
