    Congrats to Ken Werner!

Rumor has it that the latest Fine Woodworking published something of Ken's. Dunno any details other than it's on page 80, since the online version doesn't seem to have it available yet, but I happened upon a mention of it out and about on the 'Net, so I figured I'd mention it here.

Congrats, Ken, and we want details!

Yes, it's true. The article begins on page 80, and is entitled "What's Your Sign?", about how woodworkers sign their work. Ken's method is shown on page 82.

This should show a scan of the page. Hope it's readable for you. His is right in the middle (the box with the lid next to it - it's a box he made for his son's first plane).

That's pretty neat! Now that he's a celebrity, do we have to call him Mr. Werner or Sir Werner???

    Congratulations Ken!

Thanks for your kind comments. I sent some pictures of how I sign my work to FWW about a year ago. The little box holds my son Ben's first block plane. Made it for him when he was 7. [He's almost 18 now.] Anyway they liked it.
And I'm thrilled to have something published. Woohoo.

    Thanks,

    Ken
