    Dave

    Similar to this, but with an ellipse as I described. Actually the arc might work as I have it drawn I just would like to see it the other way.

    Aaron, I see. Start by drawing a circle centered above the rectangle. Use the scale tool to mash it into an ellipse. Move the ellipse down over the rectangle as desired. Select both the rectangle and the ellipse and run Intersect with selected. Delete the unwanted lines. Push/Pull to thickness.

    I get an error that says not intersections found. ??

    I was able to scale it to make it an ellipse and move it but can't intersect.
