    A couple of new things...

I have had some extra income so the shop has benefited.

I got this from Highland Woodworking last week. The new RVA attachment is on backorder. Thats the router support bar with floating vacuum attachment.

Based on the review posted in FWW I have read the book some and will watch the DVD before trying anything. But I am very excited about making some boxes with cool dovetails.

I also found this over on woodnet, but the guy also has posted in our classifieds.

It's Padauk. Really dense and heavy stuff. $90 delivered. Maybe a little high but beautiful wood.

You're gonna love that Leigh Jig. It's really a great piece of equipment.

I've had mine for about twelve years, now, and am still amazed at the work it produces.

BTW, I've also got an RVA attachment on backorder at Highland. They're saying it should ship somewhere around 5 Sept.

    'Morning Bartee...

    Congrats on the new tools!

You're gonna love that jig! It's not as hard to use as it first appears. Just follow the book and you'll do fine!

    Oh, and nice Paduak!

Now go make some sawdust and post pics of the results!

    Thumbs up

    Congratulations, Bartee!

I've been wanting one of those myself. If I can ever stop spending on my shop expansion, maybe I'll come up with one!
