Bandsaw tuning question

Some of your noise could be coming from those guides... they're like the ones I was talking about earlier, and I tend to like them better than ball bearing guides. You could try cutting something that will make the noise, then give the guides a little squirt of lube behind the hardened disk and see if the noise goes away. Or you could use graphite powder if you don't want to have them gum up with saw dust - instructions might offer some guidance, though I think you said they're in German....
