Is this a Stanley 12 3/4 plane?

Hi Randy. Yep, looks like the 3/4 instead of the 1/2. But--people have long modified 1/2s to resemble the 3/4. And without taking the soles off, it's difficult to tell.

Randy, just a note of netiquette. Often it can be seen as undesirable to point to an auction which is ongoing. Sometimes people who may be bidding on it take offense. This especially can apply to auctions which are mislisted.

Take care, Mike

No worries Randy. Thank you for removing the link to a live auction--It's a future thing to remember. It's not a rule, just a courtesy thing for down the road.

I would have missed that auction. Never have held a 12 3/4. Pretty cool in its rarity. I have heard they don't work any better and in some cases less well than the 12 and 12 1/2. Possibly why Stanley didn't sell as many of them.

Take care, Mike
