Sorry, that’s just extreme jealousy talking. Beautiful shop.
Well Bruce it's been on there for a while just added a few updates. I did get a good laugh with your tool-porn comment...never thought of it that way.

Nice additions to an already awesome setup, Doug. Still looks a bit too clean, but I'm sure that'll handle itself with time.

Oh yeah I forgot about that. It's in my mechanics shop across the way. I just don't have room for it in the main shop. It has worked out good. It's one sheet as opposed to the castle which was two pieces splined together.

doug, how were you assembling frames before? or maybe if i remember correctly you weren't, you were doing frameless. anyhoo, do you find you can be productive with the kreg table? i am using a flat homemade table right now and after half a day on it my neck is killing me from looking down, i was thinking the angled table on the kreg might help this. what ya think?

    thanks

Chris I do both frameless and face frames. The jobs before I got the kreg table I just used a flat table. But if you do a lot of face frames I would definitely recommend the kreg table. The last kitchen I did was I think was about 10 frames and it took under an hour to put the frames together. It will also alleviate the stiff neck.

You might look around for used. Woodweb or machine king etc.

    thanks doug,

ok, i had only heard you talk of frameless in the beginning. it's good to be able to do both.

an average job for me is about 20-25 frames. the one i am on now is 40 frames, and the next one will be about 55 probably.

those two are really big though, not usual.

i think i will start considering one much more very soon.

i try to buy things that will both make my job easier and faster. so this sounds like it fits the bill

    thanks for the input
