You mentioned in your Dirty Shop thread that you oiled the wood before the finish cuts. Was it Antique Oil, or something else?
 
Used Antique oil, helped with the tearout a lot. :thumb:
Thanks...I'll have to give that a try. I can usually handle the tearout on the outside of pieces, but on the inside (particularly on hollow forms...but also on some bowls), I sometimes get to the point where I have to put away the steel and go to the grit. Don't want to pull an Addy and make the inside dimension bigger than the outside dimension. :D
