    Big Leaf Maple HF

First complete turning in three months. Sure is good to be turning again.

5-1/4" x 2-3/4". Finished with SAC and buffed.

That's sweet, Neal. I love the form and the wood, and the crisp edge on the rim looks good to me, too. Kind of a departure from the norm. (I guess it's a departure from the "Norm", too, since you didn't need just a few brads to hold things until the glue dries.)

Neal, that is VERY nice, every time I see the words "Big Leaf Maple" I know I'm going to LOVE the word, which I do, but in this case I also am really taken by the form.

    Great work!
