A good friend glued this block up and I got half of it. This piece ended up 5-1.4" tall and 4" wide. Would be glad to hear any critiques/comments/suggestions/opinions you have to offer.

And maybe the other half of this block will show up...;)...how about it, Travis?

I like it a lot, Mark. That must have been a challenge. It gives me some ideas for double-axis turnings.

Your piece is no slouch either, Travis. ;)

Fantastic guys!

Did you get dizzy looking at it when you turned it?

I would imagine with all of them contrasting colors in a symmetric pattern it would be bad......:dunno:

Both of you did a great job on these pieces, but I have to admit that I like Mark's just a little bit better. Mark's has a unique form that one doesn't often see in turned pieces, and that makes it outstanding. Mark, if you enter this one into some sort of competition and win a blue ribbon, the judges are prejudiced!!!
