This summer I took a class with Alan Lacer at Arrowmont and got a chance to become friends with both Alan and his assistant for that class, Jim Bliss. Jim was teaching two courses this fall, one at JC Campbell and one at Arrowmont and asked that I be the assistant instructor at both. While I couldn't make the JC Campbell class, I was able to set up a friend as instructor for that course (Joe Sappington) and I was able to make the other course at Arrowmont this past weekend. The weekend courses are probably more intense since they cram 4 days of turning into 2.5 days. I really enjoyed instructing and hope to do more in the future. We had a class of 14 and that was close to capacity for Arrowmont. Here are a few pictures of the class. A good picture of Jim is in 100-172 and the director of Arrowmont, David Willard can be seen visiting with one of our students in picture100-182.

    Wow Chris, that looks great!

Congrats Chris. Wow an instructor even. Looks like a lot of fun. Some day I will attend some classes.
