A thing, an acorn, and a pecan.

The bodies are Curly Maple. The tops are (left to right) Claro Walnut, Dunnowood, and Eucy gum burl. Sizes range from 2-1/8" to 2-3/4".

These are kinda fun!

Awful lot of shine on that one top, Neal. Is that maybe a CA finish? I think I may even see a little fleshtone color. What type of dye did you use?

Neal those are some great looking birdhouses. Did you use CA to glue them on? I always use Titebond III on mine. Don't know why for sure but just do. What kind of finish did you use? I use spray Deft lacquer on mine most of the time or minwax spray poly. Lacquer is much faster. You can put 3 coats on in a hour and a half.
