    Maple Bowl and stand

I usually don't spray lacquer, so when the client wanted it done that way, I had to remake the turn table stand that I had, trust me it needed it . I had a tripod stand that I wasn't using, so I mounted a piece of 5/8" dia. steel on the end of it, drilled a 3/8" hole in the end and used some brackets I had, plugged it all together. Works great. Also made a piece that will go in the inside of the bowl out of an old jam chuck I had. What does everyone else use?

Great looking bowl Randy. Looks like a pretty good setup to me.

I like the bowl Randy. Great job. My "board o' nails" is similar to yours but it has fewer nails and doesn't have the swivel capability. I've been meaning to hit the thrift stores and buy a lazy susan to use for a similar rotating stand.

    Vaughn,

I added some nails, I had mixed to much lacquer up, so I decided to shoot this small vase I had done on the mini, but it feel between the nails.
