Snowed in Maine Today!!

Yep snowed in Maine and I got pictures to prove it!!

Snowed in North-Western Maine. This is Sugarloaf USA, a major ski resort. The snowline is at 1500 Feet.

And we are still in the low 80's here!

Tired of sweating and looking forward to the cooler weather.

heck we are supposed to be in the 70's this week, low 50's at night. It was pretty cool a few days ago and I fired up the boiler.

We've had the furnace on for over a month, but the air conditioner still was kicking in a bit last week. Sunday I was dripping with sweat cleaning out the rain gutters.

Travis is just chompin' at the bit to get enough snow to fire up his sled.

Typical of Arkansas, the nights can get pretty cool and we might need the A/C by mid-day. I might get out for the muzzle loading hunting season this week. That means bundling up like an eskimo in the a.m. and walking out the same trail I use to walk in. That way I can pick up the layers of clothes I took off on the way. My daughter and her husband went fishing in Colorado yesterday. She sent some pictures. Below is the snow in Woodland Park, CO.

I put on my first 'Daddy shirt' (what my youngest son calls flannel shirts) this weekend. Twas a mite brisk out there in the low 50's and last night we had a low of 42.
