At 2:00 am Friday it's still rain here it still hasn't changed over to snow yet. Just west of here it's snowing (25 miles or so) like mad.

Sorry to hear about your leak, water is so destructive, hope you get a handle on that soon.
Sure hope that pile of wet shavings don't freeze, they you REALLY would have to use a snow shovel!!

Well, we got by without too severe a snowfall. Where I live it's about one inch of icy white stuff. But surrounding areas got hit worse.
Our town is supposed to have it's annual Christmas parade this evening. Cold we can handle but it the roads are icy it should be postponed.
My leak is a major annoyance. I have been thinking about it all night and now am angry that the pipe coming through was not installed properly when the house was built. It should have been sealed with hydraulic cement from the outside. Now it is about four feet underground and under my deck. I'm going to have to try sealing with some kind of squirtable material. Don't know what yet, maybe simple silicone. Dunno will research.
