    Miter Gear

I am rebuilding a J-line table saw and am having trouble finding a miter gear. I talked to a machine shop and they talked about $500 to cut a gear. Any suggestions for other sources?

OWWM or try searching online at places like Boston gear. It might be standard gear, You never know.

Not the least bit surprised at the machine shop price. Average person doesn't under stand how much work it would be to make one.
God grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked anyway,
the good fortune to run into the ones I do,
and the eyesight to tell the difference.
