    Design Beltsander and progress

Designed my new lathe beltsander, and I'm already busy with making parts.
    The beltsander is lathe powered.
Use two separate belts, the same as used on small hand beltsanders.
These belts are very cheap, one belt cost nearly 2 euro.
Use one beltsander for flatten the smaller half segmented rings, and both for the larger.
This is the second piece of machinery, to use together with my new mitre saw for making more perfect segmented rings, anyway I hope so
    Cheers.

That's some pretty impressive design and construction work, Ad!

I assume you'll be posting pictures of the completed sander?

Hi Kerry, takes me another couple of weeks to complete this beltsander.
But in the maintime I show you the progress, still a lot of work to do before I can show you the completed sander.
But I love it to make my own stuff, to be honest more than woodturning.
    Thanks for your attention.
