    Oak Bowl

Here is an oak bowl I turned fromn wood left over from the Oak Bookcase

The leftover chunk was the perfect size for a bowl and it compliments the bookcase nicely. Oak isn't the greatest wood to turn but it polished up nicely. With Beal bowl buffing system it polished up feeling like glass.

Alex, nothing wrong with oak, I turned many objects from oak.
Your bowl is perfect, nicely polished, nice form, so you used this left over piece very well.

Alex, great form I have a access to a huge amount of oak, so seeing people turn out items like this makes me excited to go out and get it.

Very nice, Alex. I really like the fine burned detail on the rim.
