    Another Black Walnut NE...

    More of this latest stash of mine that Meazle and DeRoque helped me score.

    11-1/2" x 9" x 5-1/2"... Antique oil and buffed...

    Great piece, Mark. Is it just me, or is the sapwood lighter colored on this piece than most walnut? Either way, this one looks very nice.

    In my experience the sapwood in Walnut is usually very light in color when it is fresh cut. The longer it sits, the darker it will get.

    I am a sucker for natural edge but this one is veery nice.
