Very Strange

My guess is the rep doesn't know the difference between tires and wheels. :rolleyes: Glad to see they got you taken care of, though. You could always send the extra wheels to Stu and he can make you another bandsaw. :p
 
My experience with Rikon service has been favorable. I'd just accept the additional items as an effort by them to insure that you are satisfied with their service.

I only asked for new tires. No way did I think they would send tires and wheels.

My original post was not a complaint. I am very happy with the way Rikon took care of me. I was only questioning the practicality of stocking wheel/tire assemblies as a single replacement. Maybe in the grand scheme of things it makes perfect sense. :dunno:

Interesting...I've just been forced to do this in my world. I can't afford to keep parts...they take up more space than "wholes". It's beginning to be a save nickle...spend a dime.
