The plans for first 3 boards were in the Oct. '07 issue of WOOD. The last one was inspired by the Wood Whisperer.

This one inspired by the Wood Whisperer is made from hard maple and purple heart.

All the boards are finished with mineral oil and over coated with Beeswax Salad Bowl finish from LV.

I love well executed cutting boards and these are really nice looking. I am not sure about using purpleheart though. It is very dense but turns to such a muddy brown color after a while that it no longer resembles anything.

Your work is beautiful and the joints are superbly done. Nice work!:thumb:

Good job Mack!.

With so many boards, and Christmas coming your relatives will have great presents!.

Or is it that you want one for cheese, one for ham, one for bacon, one for bread, one for vegetables and so on? :D
