Well made a couple of Potpourri pots today. 2 out of spalted cherry and 1 out of walnut. Both finished with Minwax Antique Oil and buffed. The inside I put a couple of coats of poly on. They are 5 1/2" across and 3 1/2" high.

Very nice Bernie! :thumb:

Where do you find the tops for those?

DT

Don they are basically easy to make and I get mine from CSUSA or you can get them at Packard Woodworks. CSUSA has more of a selection.

Thanks for the comments. Travis that piece of walnut came from John Hart. I would like to find a few more pieces just like it.

Hi Bernie, I made in the past potpourri pots too, always a fun.
But yours are wonderful, with the right size for containing potpourri.
I think very nice for a birthday present, at least that's my idea by giving everything I made to my family and friends, but having a showroom like I have at the home of my own daughter and my very nice lady nextdoor makes it worthy to continue, and to promote your work, and with success.
Got many requests from people who saw that, and ask me to do some turnings for them, so sometimes I have some profit, at least if they want to pay for that, always difficult here to sell your work !!

Great job Bernie :thumb:
