    sorta new here....

    Hello everyone!
    I'm Lee. I live near Cincinnati, Ohio. I've been lurking here for a few months trying to learn as much as I can. I have metalworking and woodworking equipment. Someday I hope to make my own CNC router. Since the wife decided that the kids need to live in burbs, my workshop area has decreased a bunch. I'll be setting it up soon. One thing is for sure, I don't have room for big pieces of wood to move. So I will have to be creative and build machinery that moves, so the wood can stay stationary.
    Some things I've learned already;

    Dave is Google Sketchup guy.
    Stu has to move everything with a crane first and last.
    Robert never tells the story in just one post!

    Guess that's about it for now. See my sketchup of the mantel I'm getting ready to build in the design forum. I'm looking for any and all constructive comments from the experts so that I don't make a mistake along the way.

    Thanks,

    Lee

    Welcome and glad to have you. Setting up shop can be exciting especially if you add in the challenge of space management. Enjoy the process.

    Where's the fun in that? Some of the best "features" in my work started out as a mistake.
