I'm selling a near-new Barracuda 2 chuck and jaw set from Penn State Industries. I got this set new in October, and have used it maybe three or four times total. It's a fine chuck, but it won't fit my new lathe, so I figure someone else here might be able to use it. The only visible wear is on the screw chuck adaptor, when some of the black finish was worn off using a wrench to tighten the screw into a blank.
This chuck will fit 1" x 8tpi spindles, and the set includes an adaptor for 3/4" x 8tip spindles. It will not fit my new 1 1/4" x 8tpi lathe.
Penn State sells this chuck and jaw set for about $180 shipped, Amazon has it for about $150 shipped, and I'm asking $110, including shipping. I'll let it sit here a few days before listing it on Craig's List.
P.S. Know anybody in the LA area who's looking for a 15" Sears lathe? It's a nice step up from a mini lathe size-wise, and I'm selling it with a lot of extras for $300...less than the cost of some minis.
