The lathe is up and running.

For the most part I was able to get the 3520 down in the basement and set up by myself. I had a problem aligning the headstock because of the locking mechanism, so my 15 year old daughter lent a hand.

I'm ready for a nap.
 
Congrats, Ron. Sounds like you beat Ken and me on getting yours powered up. :eek: I think we're all in for a treat. :D

Oh, and sorry to hear your camera's broken. :rofl:

Looks great, but heavy, must have been quite the lug downstairs! :eek:

Stu, with your shop you should know. It is amazing what you can move downstairs with the right tools. In my case I used an appliance hand truck, a come-along, some rope, a tree trunk and patience. I just moved it downstairs one notch at a time.
