There are some much easier beginning boats to build. Especially using the new plywood and epoxy systems. Here would be a good place to start hanging around.

Thanks for the link Tom and you are, of course, correct that I should start with something much more simple. But, my ultimate aim would be to build a boat like yours. One can dream can't one -and sometimes my dreams have come true.

Here is a boat that would be a couple of weekends project, simple, lumber yard wood and ply, and you would have a gorgeous really easy to row boat, for under $300 or close to it. I think it will be my next project.

Not sure yet whether the oars are more impressive or the boat :rofl:, but I'm leaning towards the boat :D. Well done on both counts!
