    Just for Santa

I posted this in the finish room but thought I would put it here too. It is finished now and I am working to get it on the wall today. I'll post it when It gets there

    Merry Christmas to all....

    Wow, that is a beauty!

Got something to hang them stockings on?

My My Reg you have really taken things up a notch. That is a lovely piece and completed except for the mounting. Lee Clock, in the design forum had some questions about mounting you might want to share. His thread was "Mantle Design".
Nice little detail stopping the rout on the top piece, it seems to highlight the very center of your mantle.
Also the joy of seeing the quatersawn look come out with the chamfer along what seems to be a rift cut front edge.
If Santa doesn't come to your place this Christmas I am calling the North Pole to speak to Mrs. Claus!

Very nice, Reg. Santa should be pleased. What's the wood? Oak?

    Hi there.

Any hints why I can't see the pics that Reg posted? I didn't touch anything and I can only see the icon with the red "X".
    Best regards,
    Toni

I also dream of a shop with north light where my hands can be busy, my soul rest and my mind wander...
