Not looking good for B&D. Don't they own many of the major brands?

" NEW YORK, Dec 14 (Reuters) - Tool maker Black & Decker Corp (BDK.N: Quote, Profile, Research) slashed its fourth-quarter profit outlook on Friday, citing worse-than-expected conditions in North America and a one-time charge, and its shares fell as much as 10 percent.

Black & Decker has been been suffering from a sharp slowdown in U.S. construction activity, the result of the two-year slump in the housing market."

Thanks,

Bill

I think that corporate America is going to find out the middle class that they abandoned in their greed are more important to them than they thought. That would be fine with me except the middle class is going to suffer along with them.

B&D owns a BUNCH of companies now ...

Dewalt for decades
Delta last year
Porter Cable last year
There were like a dozen involved in the Pentair purchase last year that got them delta and porter cable.
