    Just a Quicky Pen

A buddy had a birthday the other day, I did not KNOW it was his birthday, well I knew, but I did not remember. My wife reminded me about it the day AFTER his birthday

Oh well, I made him this pen..........

it is the same wood, Tochi, as the bowl the pen is sitting in. I got some nice curl in this piece, I think he will like it.

I tried a different finish on this one, I put two coats of sanding sealer on, then a bout 10 or 15 coats of Melamine Lacquer, all hand rubbed, then sanded and waxed.

LV Fat cigar pen, upgrade gold.

    Cheers!

I'm sure he will like it, he is a teacher, so will have use of it.

    Cheers!

Looks real good, Stu. Have you tried a CA finish? Talk about a quickie...much faster than 15 coats of lacquer.
