turned this bowl before we went on our trip. Walnut 6-1/2" Diameter, 2"high, and 1/16" wall thickness. Buffed it out today and am sending it to a dear friend Monday.

Thanks for lookin' - Usual finish - Sanded/polished to 4000 - Mineral Oil/ French polish - Beal system Buffing.

Looks like it turned out just fine Bruce but the picture is fuzzy. I sure would like to see a few more.

Ya know Bruce, I was thinking about you the other day, and how you were largely responsible for my plunge into the Abyss. You had good things to say about your Wilton mini lathe in a post or two, so I looked them up on Amazon, then BAM! I had a lathe in my shop. It was all over then. Now I've got three lathes in my shop (although the Craftsman looks like it's sold...I'll know more in a few days). Haven't turned on the Wilton in quite a while, but it gets a lot of use as a buffing station. I went from one of the smallest lathes to one of the big boys in about 18 months. And I partially blame you. :rolleyes:
