    FIRST TURN

Hello Turners; First timer here, Cant wait to get turning! Trying to learn as much as I can so that I get hurt by flying wood or tools. A lot of what I read is too advanced. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. I bought an old 11x36 Delta double duty lathe. Any starter projects? Thanks; Brad

    Hi Brad!

Your first starter project should be a "Bonker"

That link will take you to a search page, where you can see a bunch of "bonker" projects.

For a beginner book, I highly recommend Keith Rowley's book "Woodturning: A Foundation Course"

    A very good book!
    Cheers!
