    Hickory HF

    Here is a hickory HF I did with a ebony collar and ebony finial. It is 6 1/2" across and 3 1/2" high. Finished with Antique Oil and buffed.

    Beautiful! The first picture looks much like white Oak. I didn't realize they looked so much alike.

    That's a beauty Bernie. It's a little hard to see the profile of the finial but I really like that triple decker tip detail.

    Very nice Bernie! I find hickory a bit difficult to turn but, you make it look like it's worth the effort!
